
As VP of marketing at Perceive, David McIntyre oversees all aspects of adoption and expansion based on market fit and needs of the company’s first product, Ergo.
Prior to Perceive, David was senior vice president of strategy and standards at Xperi, Perceive’s parent company and investor. While there, David led the successful launches of products in the immersive audio, and augmented and virtual reality spaces. Further, he drove multiple acquisitions across DTS, the company which ultimately became Xperi following its acquisition by Tessera.
Before Xperi, David was vice president at venture capital firm Ventures West, engaging in all aspects of the investment process and serving as a board member for multiple companies, primarily in the software-as-a-service (SaaS) and enterprise software sectors.
David has also served as chair of the Vancouver Enterprise Forum, the premier networking event for the city’s technology entrepreneurs. He holds a BS in math and computer science from McGill University.
